At Outdoor Street Furniture Limited, we are committed to providing high-quality, custom-made products that meet your expectations. Our Returns and Refunds Policy is designed in accordance with New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) to ensure your rights are protected.

1. Faulty or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or does not meet the agreed-upon specifications, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Remedies may include:

  • Repair: Fixing any defects or issues with the product.
  • Replacement: Providing a new product of the same type.
  • Refund: Reimbursing the purchase price if the fault is significant and cannot be remedied.

To process a claim for a faulty or defective product:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product by contacting us at info@outdoorstreetfurniture.co.nz or calling 029 043 45336.
  • Provide your order details, a description of the issue, and supporting photos if possible.
  • We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

2. Custom and Made-to-Order Products

All our products are custom-made to your specifications. As such:

  • We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect orders, or customizations that have been approved by the customer.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure all specifications, measurements, and details provided at the time of ordering are accurate.

3. Delivery Damage

We take care to ensure your order is packaged securely to prevent damage during delivery. If your product arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and your order details.
  • We will assess the situation and arrange for a replacement, repair, or other suitable remedy.

4. Warranty

We offer a 2-year warranty on all our products under proper usage conditions. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

What is Covered:

  • Structural integrity of the product.
  • Defects arising from materials or manufacturing errors.

What is Not Covered:

  • Damage caused by improper use, neglect, vandalism, or exposure to harsh environments beyond normal outdoor conditions.
  • Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches, discoloration, or fading.
  • Damage resulting from incorrect installation or maintenance.

To make a warranty claim:

  • Contact us at info@outdoorstreetfurniture.co.nz or 029 043 45336 with proof of purchase and details of the issue.
  • Claims must be made within the 2-year warranty period.

5. Non-Returnable Situations

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds in the following situations:

  • If the product is damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper installation by the customer.
  • If the customer provides incorrect specifications or measurements for a made-to-order product.
  • If the claim is made outside the warranty or return period.

6. Process for Returns

If a return is approved for any reason, we will provide instructions on how to return the product. Please note:

  • Products must be returned in their original condition unless they are faulty or damaged.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.
